Compare and Contrast

Remember those English Literature papers you had to write in high school comparing and contrasting this and that.

Well, here is a fun exercise from an article Drudge highlighted today.

A perfect example of The Left's racism of lower expectations in comparison to comments from a non-Lefty.

If you don't have time to read the entire article, read the first sentence:

MILWAUKEE - A radio talk show host drew criticism Thursday after calling Condoleezza Rice an "Aunt Jemima" and saying she isn't competent to be secretary of state. . . .

Then, read the last sentence of the article:

The incident came after a radio host in Milwaukee had his talk show taken off the air all of last week after he used word "wetback" to refer to undocumented Mexican immigrants, sparking protests from Hispanics.

Now, I loved English Literature, loved my teacher, and did well in school writing my papers, but do I even have to expend one little grey cell on this compare and contrast exercise?

Wait! There's more!

This comment from the local NAACP is simply too easy to ridicule:

Linda Hoskins of the NAACP's Madison branch said she could not comment on Sylvester's remarks until she had heard them in their entirety.

As if context in its "entirety" has ever prevented the NAACP from labeling anyone straying from the orthodoxy of The Left as a racist.

What a transparently ridiculous statement.

And the walls keep tumbling on down. . . .
