The Syrian Connection

Since my intelligence antennae cannot compare to the intelligence gathering capabilities of the thankfully soon to be revamped CIA, I will still suggest Syrian holds many of the secrets of the former Iraqi dictatorship, including WMD.

Charles Johnson at LGF highlights an article suggesting Syrian omnipresence in Iraq (emphasis added).

The Iraqi hostage, who had been beaten on the back with steel cables, said his tormentors were Syrian and that he thought he was in Syria until the Marines found him, the Marine said. Other militants came and went, but “The Syrians were always in charge,” the Marine said.

Many serpents remain, but we are taking out vipers in Iraq who would rather be killing Americans in our homeland.

Prayers for the families who mourn the loss of loved ones.

Thanks to our troops who have given their lives for our protection.

May we never forget, and may we never trivialize nor ridicule their sacrifice. Would that some of our Blue State friends realize that those who want to kill us today wanted to do so before September 11 too. I don't think they stop and think about that simple fact due to their hysterical hatred of Bush.

But, Hatred has always been blinding.
