Supreme Court Politics

To Specter or not to Specter.

My head leans toward Hewitt's position, my heart toward the NRO charge.

Of course, Robert Bork is speaking from experience with no love lost for Arlen.

Specter has always been a thorn in the side of conservatives, but W and Santorum helped his re-election efforts (although the White House currently is taking an interesting approach in letting the chips fall where they may and not "campaigning" one more time for Specter -- perhaps the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Specter endorsement with this call to arms, "Before the Post-Gazette editorial board, he promised that no extremists would be approved for the bench," has cooled W's enthusiasm).

Be careful what you wish for?
