AOL Owns You

OK, not quite, but the new AIM (that's AOL Instant Messenger for those of you coming in from the wilderness) Terms of Service contain some real whoppers.

"You waive any right to privacy. You waive any right to inspect or approve uses of the content or to be compensated for any such uses," according to the AIM terms-of-service.

One might think AOL subscribers will quickly and firmly rap the knuckles of the AOL Peeping Toms (one way to do so is to drop their AOL service like the dense rock it is).
